You Can Help Make Community Change Efforts Possible

BOARD LEADERSHIP

The next step in our process of creating this new organization is to recruit, select, and seat a new Board of Directors.

An ideal board member:

  • Has past involvement with the Transition Town movement or related organizations (like Strong Towns or Interfaith Power and Light, for example)

  • Has experience on a nonprofit board

  • Has practical organizational management skills (such as legal knowledge, fundraising experience, finance knowledge, marketing experience, etc.)

  • Shares our positive vision for future action

  • Can commit 10-15 hours a month to help get a new organization off the ground

 

APPLY for a board position. We will be contacting applicants in February to begin online interviews.

COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP
Once the board has been chosen, we will begin looking for advisory committee members. Let us know if you are interested in serving on a committee. Contact us by email to express interest in serving on a:

  • Fundraising committee 

  • Marketing and Communications committee

  • Local Group Support committee

  • Organizational Culture advisory committee 
  • Partnership Development committee
